INDUSTRY

Software for retail and eCommerce

Retailers here sell through their own store, several marketplaces, social channels and physical branches, usually with different stock numbers in each. We build the storefronts, order orchestration and integration layer that make those channels agree. Arabic is designed first, not mirrored at the end.

One stock number, several channels

Overselling and cancellations are almost never a warehouse problem. They come from each channel holding its own view of availability, updated on a schedule that made sense when there was one channel. The commercial cost shows up as cancelled orders, marketplace penalties and customers who do not come back.

We put an order and inventory orchestration layer between the channels and the back office. Availability is calculated once, with reservation and safety-stock rules per channel, and every order lands in one queue regardless of where it came from. Fulfilment can then route to a warehouse or a branch on the same logic.

  • Single availability service with per-channel reservation and buffer rules
  • Unified order queue across web, app, marketplaces and in-store
  • Ship-from-store and click-and-collect routed on stock, distance and capacity
  • Returns and exchanges handled across channels, not per channel

Arabic-first storefronts

An Arabic storefront that was built by mirroring an English one shows it: broken mixed-direction strings, product names that do not sort, filters that read awkwardly, a search index that misses common spellings, and prices rendered in the wrong numeral system. Customers notice, and the conversion gap between the two languages is measurable.

We build both directions into the same components and the same test suite, tune search for Arabic morphology and common transliterations, and give merchandising teams one place to manage both catalogues. The result is a storefront where the Arabic experience is not the lesser one.

Payments, delivery and the local reality

Checkout in this market has to handle regional cards, wallets, instalment and buy-now-pay-later providers, and cash on delivery, each with its own failure modes and reconciliation. Delivery promises depend on courier coverage that varies by emirate and by community, and a promise the courier cannot keep is worse than a longer one.

We integrate payment and delivery providers behind stable internal interfaces so commercial teams can add or drop a provider without a rebuild, and so finance gets one reconciliation view instead of six exports.

  • Checkout supporting cards, wallets, instalments and cash on delivery
  • Courier integration with realistic per-area delivery promises
  • Settlement and reconciliation reporting across all payment methods
  • Fraud and abuse controls tuned to local order patterns

Which of our services usually apply

Custom Software Development, Mobile App Development and API Development & Integration carry the build, with Product & UX Design ahead of them where conversion is the target. Data & Analytics follows to give merchandising a cohort and margin view rather than a traffic report. QA & Test Automation is what keeps peak-season releases safe.

For a platform we build and then run, our managed arrangement covers the store, the integrations and the seasonal load, under an agreed SLA.

Questions

Most retailers should keep the platform and rebuild only the layers that constrain them, usually the storefront and the orchestration between channels. We will say so plainly if a full custom build is not worth the cost for your volume.

Yes, for listings, pricing, stock and orders, working to each marketplace's published integration. Seller accounts and commercial terms remain yours, and we build the sync to survive their rate limits and outages.

We load test to a multiple of your expected peak, put caching and queueing where the pressure actually lands, and agree a release freeze window. Capacity is planned against your own historical traffic, not a generic benchmark.
